Portraits

This video is to give new customers an idea what a Ní Riain Photography portrait session is like. Our aim is to relax both children and parents, making the session as enjoyable as possible.

In order to relax young children when they arrive, we have a play session which allows them to settle into their new environs. Sinéad usually discusses with the parents a suitable choice of outfits for Black & White and colour portraits. 

After 10 minutes of play we then introduce the children to the camera room. The portrait session is broken up with fun and play e.g.'A Teddy bears Birthday party', which if the children require a change of outfit during the sitting, we say 'they have to put on their party clothes'. Lots of young clients have asked 'Can I come back again to play in the playroom'

We allow an hour for the portrait session and small children leaving get a little present of a bag of sweets.

Usually a forthnight later, the parents return to the studio viewing room to select their portraits. Our friendly staff are there to guide you in the selection of the portraits. We have a beautiful range of custom frames to compliment your home decor.
