Tipperary Hurlers Michelle Shortt and James Woodlock were married in Drombane Church and Aherlow House Hotel by Fr. Joe Walsh and Fr. Martin Murphy. I wanted to capture the fun and magic of their fab wedding day.
I got this beautiful message from Michelle and James on my facebook page Christmas Day
“Thanks Sinead for your wonderful work on our special day. Both James and I would highly recommend you to anyone, u were so professional in getting us such fantastic photographs throughout the day. The boys might still be getting dressed only for you!!! Ur photos are amazing and we had great fun with you all day. You went beyond ur job description and thanks for everything again xxx
I started at the Grooms home farm where Hurling, farming and hunting were the three brothers passion growing up. I wanted to capture them playing hurling pucking ball in their yard.
A friend had given James a present of stickers to put on the underneath of his shoes “Game Over”
Christy O’Brien and Maura Bergin hunting friends arrived with a beautiful pair of horses and carriage as a susurprise and brought James and his brothers to the church – on time! 🙂
Michelle loves Christmas and was the reason she picked this special time to get married.
Santa came early for Bride Michelle as the Groom surprised her the night before with a present of a vintage Mini Copper one she had always wanted. He had wrapped it in a red ribbon and Red Rudolf nose and Antlers!
The Bride and her sisters Theresa and Catriona wore beautiful lace covered dresses and Winter White fur capes
Tipperary Hurling Flags and Club flags greeted the Bridal party

The Wedding Details
Joanne + David had a unique wedding full of fun and happiness. Their choice of Bridal party made for fantastic wedding photographs as they sang and laughed the whole day through. The couple chose Dundrum House Hotel for their wedding venue as it offered beautiful intimate receptions rooms for their Humanist civil ceremony and used the larger wedding reception room for their meal and dancing, which went on till late.
Surprise pressie today from a lovely Dromoland Castle Hotel Bride and Groom. Just back from their honeymoon on the Orient Express – a Thank You card with a Salt and pepper waiter set. It will have pride of place in my Thatch Cottage.
